Billy Preston "He Brought Me Out"

He brought me out
He brought me out
All praise to Him
My way was drear
My course in doubt
Praise the Lord! He brought me out

He brought me out
He brought me out
I'll sing to Him
Now I have a new song
I'll sing and shout
Praise the Lord! He brought me out

I was walking in darkness,
No light could I see
That was before He brought me out
I heard Him say child,
Come here and follow me
Praise the Lord! He brought me out

He'll do the same for you!

He'll bring you out
He'll bring you out
Just trust in Him
From shades of night
To blades of light
Praise the Lord!
He'll bring you out!

If you're drowning in deep waters
Going down for the last time
And you need someone to bring you out,
His outstretched hand
Reaches out to every man
Take hold, he'll bring you out.

He'll do the same for you
He'll bring you out
He'll bring you out
Just trust in Him
From shades of night
To blades of light
Praise the Lord! He'll bring you out!

Help me sing it choir

He brought me out
He brought me out
All praise to Him
My way was drear
My course in doubt
Praise the Lord! He brought me out!

Praise the Lord! He brought me out!
Praise the Lord! He brought me out!
Praise the Lord! He brought me out!
Praise the Lord! He brought me out!

Special Friends

What makes someone a special friend? Recently someone behaved in a way that defined it for me. A woman came in for the 11-7 shift, and, without going into the details, let me just say that I had had a difficult day, and I went off on her. The 2 days or so that followed, she did not come in, and I realized that I had made a mistake by being so mean to her. I became conscious that she was a very good friend and a true friend. So it came to me that with valuable friends, it is only right to overlook any faults they have, as they too, overlook mine.

After a few days she returned. She entered my room hesitantly, not knowing whether I'd still be angry. I told her how very sorry I was for my abusive behavior. I was not sure how she was going to feel about me or whether she would forgive me.

The young lady forgave me everything! She conducted herself like we had never argued. I was thrilled! She didn't care about the wrong I had done at all. She heard my apology and accepted it. She forgave my misdeeds. But what makes her special is that she also was willing to forget, and put our friendship back into mint condition.

Why does anyone forgive and forget in this way? It happens when someone understands that he/she is deeply needed by the person who wronged them. A parent spends his lifetime forgiving this way. A person who forgives and forgets sees that his/her friend has a deficit in an area that that may not be able to be helped for a time. I know my boyfriend says and does things sometimes where I just need to let it go. I've been seeing him for 11 years and have come to understand the way he thinks. I know what I can and cannot expect from him.

A true friend sees what's in the best interests of his/her friend and knows when it is necessary to lay aside his/her own.

If I Know You

Very proud of this one folks! The way I was able to attach these animations to each other and then to a song, it's a dream come true for me!

A strong feeling of aloneness and rejection: it's a Killer

I imagine it hits everyone. You believe in something you have dreamed of for a long time. And one day your dream seems to vanish like one of those bubbles from a toy bubble kit. You might not even notice that it's gone at first. But things add up.

One rejection after another... and your saving grace: your own particular dream that you hold ever so close to your heart. And you wake up, and reality hits: it's not working out the way you hoped.

It's enough to literally make you crazy! I'm quite sure psychiatric hospitals are filled with people who have experienced this. The first temptation is to give up on this thing that has lived in every beat of your heart for so long. Yet if you entertain the idea of giving up, the result is that life seems thoroughly empty.

Friend, it is here you have a very important decision to make. I encourage you, keep going. You still have your self-respect. Be careful to cultivate your self-respect. For the sake of the soul that lives inside you, keep going. Do not allow bitterness to set in. Continue to do those things that you believe in. It may not lead to the result that you counted on. But you will still have you. You will always have you!

Does Jesus care

Now, I had a rough day today. People, I felt, were not treating me nicely, and in return, I was not as nice to them as I am sure I should have been. And then, I listened to this song. Does Jesus Care. And I realized that I am actually one with my foes. Jesus wishes to honor the needs, longings and desires of every human being on the face of this earth. Therefore, as a Christian, I should have regard for those who may not be certain how they are supposed to behave, towards me, and possibly toward everyone. I want to purpose to be on everybody's side. I want to present myself as a person who is here to assist you down the road which you wish to travel, whoever you are and wherever you dream of going. I want to be sensitive to your emotions, and help you find what you are looking for, regardless of of whether or not it is something I personally agree with. If you have come into my life, that automatically means that I need to respect you.The way you are feeling is something I need to do my best to give dignity.

What is it that creates Love?

To me, friendship has always been very closely connected to admiration. I see a strenth in someone, and I say "Wow! This is someone who is not merely getting through this life! This is someone who has regarded a deeper meaning to it all!" Oftentimes, when I see someone exhibiting such a strength, I breathe a sigh of relief. Someone seems to know what is supposed to be going on around here.

When a person is showing unique strength, a method of getting through it all that has never occurred to me before, my jaw drops open in awe. It can be said that friends assist us in getting through. I will just say, life is hard. Life is altogether a school of hard knocks. And those people in our lives who think of creative ways to approach the homework, those who help us prepare for the exam, these, I would say in my life, are the people who I have loved the most.
